Connecting Rennes and Saint-Malo over a span of 85 km (53 mi.), the Canal d’Ille-et-Rance invites one and all to venture down its towpath and wooded trails.

In Hédé-Bazouges, eleven canal locks covering 2 kilometres follow and interact with one another. They are spaced out every 200 metres (650 ft.) and delicately mix human technique with the splendid theatre of nature all around.
You can discover this unique perspective on foot, by bike, or by boat. Any way you like!
